This was a fab little novella from [a:Eleanor Wood|7124864|Eleanor Wood|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1371733322p2/7124864.jpg], a kind of companion to [b:Gemini Rising|18061692|Gemini Rising|Eleanor Wood|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1371428419s/18061692.jpg|25326211], which I loved.

This takes place during the first few chapters of [b:Gemini Rising|18061692|Gemini Rising|Eleanor Wood|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1371428419s/18061692.jpg|25326211] and fits in perfectly with the narrative of the original story. And boy, does it answer some questions. The style of writing is very accessible and I can easily compare it to Sarra Manning when it comes to how the story feels to read.

A must read if you've read the first.

I only wish it were longer!
